Maybe one could combine the TP4056 with the still available PowerBoost 1000 (without a C)?!

Just checking for clarification. The standard usb is the power output that goes to the RPi and in addition, you wired the screen to it as well? I bought two to play around with. Yes that is how I did it. I will remove the big USB plug as it takes a lot of space and I will not use the plug.Kilren wrote: Just checking for clarification. I modified my screen to run on 5V (normally 12V) and also connected it.
And yes it is very cheap
