No, I have only one small hot glue point at the to of the case (but it will probably also work without).

Interesting. I didn't use glue to secure it down but I had this problem. I was advised to glue it down. Basically when I was screwing into it after it was being put together, the mount was being pulled which misaligned my USB hole..wonder what I did wrong 0.o

What switch are you using, does it have the correct amount of throw on it ?

Ok, it's your build and you can do it anyway you want but as I advised you before, I designed my bracket to be hot glued down. It is sandwiched between kites board and the front half of the shell. If you don't glue it down it will put a lot of pressure on kites board when you tighten the case closed to the point you may crack kites board. Don't blame me if this happens. ;)

I have probably didn't read this before (my fault). I will then glue the bracket down.

I learned the hard way, it created tension on the board , specifically on the sd card slot, it was all aligned till I started screwing , as it tightened the tiny lip on the port pushes up against my card and put a fracture on my card. Destroyed a 128gb card :(
