Thinnest Wire Possible

I'm building a new GB0, this time I'm using the PI0W, which by the way was TOO easy to setup

This time around I'm going for a super neat installation....

Thinnest wire: coated cupper wire from electromagnetic coils. I used this to connect my USB hub. I had to solder direct on the usb controller smd chip and the neighbour legs was too narrow for other wires.

That's probably 28 ga? Maybe 30? Make sure you're using something beefier for power than data, as I'm sure others with more experience will chime in and tell you.

I just used for USB data. Inclusive twisting for supressing interference. For sure power needs more core diameter due to voltage drop.
30 ga? You mean AWG? Sure you can go less. Just disassemble some relais. Some wires are less thick than hairs and would work if taking care for mechanical reinforcement.

So building with 30awg for data and what for power?
I have been searching all over on the forum today to find a good answer to what is recommended to be used.
I came to the conclusion that I would use 22awg for the power and 24awg for the data. Any opinions?

Without any calculations, just experience I whould say for power AWG 26 to at least 24 is enought for short ranges inside the gameboy. For explanation: I wired up an external power for Webcam for approx. 5m using Lan Wire: AWG 26. For data everything you can smallest physically handly is ok. Maybe twist it!

If usefull take into account the most power consuming devices: Pi and the connection from battery to the boost converter. Everything else e.g. USB and all connected devices don't draw a lot of current. The audio devices es well will not draw at lot. By the way: nobody will use the 2 or 3 watt from the audio amp. So no thick wire need.
