[FOR SALE] Safe Shutdown v1.2 (for PowerBoost)
Re: [For Sale] Safe Shutdown v1.2 (for PowerBoost)
Quick question for these: is there a way to turn off power without the shutdown script? How do you cut power if the pi is frozen/already shut down (from a shell, shut down through emulationstation, etc.)?

The Pi has a "RUN" header on it which you can use to reset, and the PowerBoost has EN/GND which you can short to reset.

Perfect! Just read up on the run header and it looks like exactly what I need. I'll wire up a reset button and have it in the battery case for emergency resets. Thanks!

Re: [For Sale] Safe Shutdown v1.2 (for PowerBoost)
Shutdown board installed and worked fine... Just unhappy to have more wires inside the device
To Camble: I struggle to upgrade my second build because in this my raspberry board is slightly covered inside the game cartridge tray.
I have access just to GPIO pin 17 and upwards... I know your Power Monitor script can be edit to use other GPIO pins. But some of them habe different functions, or? Can you give me an idea which of them can used for alternative? I need replacements for BCM 17 & 27 & 22, located somewhere "lower" on the board. Lower means more away from the SD card slot. By the way maybe important so say: I do not use PWM audio!

BCM 5, 6, AND 13 should be ideal as you do not use PWM audio.

I just wanted to point out that I have only a handful of these boards left. Once they're out of stock, I won't have them again for quite a while.

Re: [SOLD OUT] Safe Shutdown v1.2 (for PowerBoost)
I'm almost done with my gbz project, I only have a problem with my powerboost.
The safe shutdown works perfectly (thanks @Camble) But when I connect my charging port, the problems start.
I have done all the tests through the powerboost micro usb port, this works fine.
But when i try to use the original DMG power connector (without the battery) the raspberry pi turns on and off and the screen is flickering.
I have checked everything and there are no shorts.
