Re: All in One PCB Support Thread
Yea I'm not sure what buttons the UI will accept as inputs so I can't comment on that. If the controller us working then the usb hub should be working but the pi is picky with the hubs it uses and unfortunately compatibility with certain devices isn't great especially if it's in USB 2.0 mode but then again in USB1.1 something don't work great either. It's best to use the Pi Zero W because of it's built in wifi because this hub chip has some compatibility issues.
Before you ask why did I use this chip, it was during the early days where people were more worried about usb keyboards and not wifi.

Don't contact me about obtaining my board files (as you will not get them). If my Boards or PCB Kits are sold out, they will be restocked as soon as I can get them and there is demand for them. You can join the mailing list on my Website to be notified when they are available.

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread
I am using a pi zero w so I should be good there. Does some one have a good image of a usb port wired up so I can confirm I am wiring this correctly? google images has produced less than stellar results.

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread
It's easy just hook a female usb socket like in the pictures and line them up like the 2nd and 3rd picture. That is the proper pinout then just solder wires to the AIO and socket and mount wherever you want.onesojourner wrote: ↑Mon May 01, 2017 3:59 pmI am using a pi zero w so I should be good there. Re: All in One PCB Support Thread
Alright I opened th case back up. I do have the usb port wired up correctly and the data lines are twisted. I have this port wired up to hub 1. Would there be any advantage to trying this on 2 or 3?Helder wrote: ↑Mon May 01, 2017 5:12 pmIt's easy just hook a female usb socket like in the pictures and line them up like the 2nd and 3rd picture. Does the arduino chip go through the usb hub? I just want to confirm that the hub is working.
Re: All in One PCB Support Thread
I have found a solution to this problem. Will be included with the battery monitoring hex and scripts I'm working on for Helder's board. Also more responsive.onesojourner wrote: ↑Mon May 01, 2017 10:05 amIs it typical for only the Dpad to work when I am not in the UI? If I try to mess with any of the retropie configs I cannot commit any changes because only the dpad works.

Do you have an ETA? this has me at a standstill with this build. I have tried 4 different keyboards now. I just don't have access to the models listed in the first post.HoolyHoo wrote: ↑Tue May 02, 2017 9:21 amI have found a solution to this problem. Re: All in One PCB Support Thread
Hopefully by this weekend. You will need a USPasp programmer to flash the hex which is the easiest way.onesojourner wrote: ↑Tue May 02, 2017 11:06 amDo you have an ETA? this has me at a standstill with this build. Re: All in One PCB Support Thread
Alright I have one on order but it probably will not be here for a month. Are you reprogramming the board as a keyboard?
