Re: GBZ #4
Very nice one.
I would be also interested in the internals, especially the SD-Card reader in the Cartridge.
Did you have any problems with the signals/wire length?
Im planning to use the same method and Im designing a 3D Printed bracket to hold the GBA Cartridge reader.
I would also like to integrate your buttons in that bracket if I can get them...
Battery I want to go for a 4800mah with pogo pins, also on a 3D printed bracket. Probably with the option to also use JST.

If I open it up again for any reason ill take a picture. Fairly standard though. I try to be as efficient with wire as possible. Ive also screwed the pie down using the old screw brackets from around the original screen.
Top one is secured using epoxy and bottom one just hot glue as this is on the AIO itself. Works a charm.
As for the cart reader its the second PRS Tech ive used and there have been no issues. No issues with signal or wire. I snip them all to exact length allowing for the case to be open side by side.
I got the buttons from Deadpan Robot. Well the clear set anyway. Really nice!

Nice work on the battery. I have just started using these which fit perfectly.

Re: GBZ #4
Sure, these were from www.retrofresh.uk via user Dominator.
However, he's currently taking a break so unsure as to when these will be back on sale unfortunately. Really nice product and very popular.
Currently you can get blank glass screen from deadpanrobot.co.uk and possibly Kitsch Bent ( shipping not viable for me unfortunately).
I also note this from jermzz in the buy/sell/trade

Gauging interest for more glass screens with silkscreen borders.

Hey man,
These L+R switches, i know those are caps placed on the switch, but did you already found them a little bit smaller?, like between your size and the size of these damn clicking tactiles
I'm planning to change that, but i want to go between the sizes hehe

Re: GBZ #4
@ VeteranGamer ,Yeah those are alot better, i'm trying to fix these so that the gameboy can lay on the table without pressing them.
Maybe you can pm me the link of these caps.
/edit : http://extra-parts.com/index.php?main_p ... ath=23_117 (coming soon, pff)
Anyway, i really prefer to get off that plastic clicky sound that clunks thru the whole case lol ..
Let's see what stunts we have to make again to achieve this, have been looking for ages to find some tiny switches wich are spring loaded or silent in combination with such a cap or something, that really s*cks hard to find

Re: GBZ #4
Sorry mate, missed this post - I haven't found them any smaller as yet but looks like Veterangamer has done144TECH wrote: ↑Fri Jul 21, 2017 9:29 amHey man,

While perhaps irrelevant now, with regard to them not clicking down or making contact when the GBZ is placed down, I angled my switches ever so slightly. This worked nicely.
Step up drill bit at 12mm was the size - only fiddly bit is gluing them securely - add to this ensuring the Pi doesn't short out the pins when closing the case. (only relevant if Pi is aligned to expose the HDMI)
