As long as it's the Pi 0 retropie image, and you don't do anything weird with configuring the screen, then yes it should work fine.

Is there is link for the right ones?
This is my first pi build. So wanna get it right.
Any that match that description will work. Search this thread and the mintyPi forum, lots of people have posted links to switches that will work.5mm tall including the actual button, 3.2mm tall without, 6.2 x 6.2mm base
Yep, this is a known issue (to Helder and I, anyway).Buiyah wrote: ↑Sat Jul 08, 2017 8:56 pmGot my parts from Helder today. Was testing the connections and it seems like my screen ribbon isn't really fitting right to the pcb board. Maybe I'm not doing it right, but when I pull out the black locking mechanism, slide the ribbon in and push it back lock it down, the ribbon just slides right out.
Anyone else having this issue?![]()

I was wondering this myself. Thanks for doing the research. 2017 we put a SNES in an Altoids tin with a wider Gameboy screen. This project is my favorite of all the ones I've seen in the last month I've been researching on retro handheld mods. Next to someone 3D scanning retro handhelds and another person wanting reconfigure the button layout on a AGB to fit 4 buttons.Hoverfly wrote: ↑Sun Jul 09, 2017 5:52 amJust comparing the mintypi 2,4" screen with the original game boy screen:
Resolution:
Game boy & game boy colour --> 160x144
Minty pi 2.4"--> 320x240
Size:
Game Boy..........Game Boy Pocket.........Game Boy Color...........MintyPi 2.4"
4.7 x 4.3 cm.........4.8 x 4.4 cm...................4.4 x 4 cm......................6.0 x 4.3 cm
Colour:
Game Boy Color: 32,768 with a maximum amount of 56 at the same time in the screen.
MintyPi 2.4": 262K color
Correct me if i'm wrong. Thank you!
PS: sorry for those who do not use the metric system.
