mintyPi Giveaway

Post by Lphillimore » Sun Jul 16, 2017 11:06 pm

Hey Guys,

Been wanting to post something like this for a while now and with the MintyPi build imminent, this seems the perfect time.

As some of you may know I moved to Australia (Perth) just over a year ago bringing my family with me. My wife's Australian so we've always had the distance thing to contend with for one side of the family. That said leaving England, friends, job etc. was always going to be a tough gig!

1 year on and luckily our house is built, job is awesome and we're having a ball. It's been a pretty tough ride at times getting here and while this is not a sob story, just wanted to give a massive shout out to this forum, Wermy, Helder and the whole community itself!

The GBZ builds have kept occupied for many months now and as mad as it might sound this was exactly what I needed while I settled in here in Aus. You guys are all awesome and this is not like any other online community I've even known previously where usually people are unwelcoming, unfriendly and there's no sense of...well, community!

As a result I'd really like to give something back to both the community as well as Wermy + Helder.... so what better than a MintyPi!

How does that benefit Wermy and Helder I hear you ask?....

My thought is that between now and the end of August any member who donates between $1-5 to Sudomod will go into the draw to win a MintyPi built by myself + including shipping.

All donations go to Wermy + Helder (if Wermy shares...) and someone here wins a MintyPi :D

I'll only do this is both Wermy and Helder approve and are OK with this.

I'll also need a list of names from Wermy of those who donate too so I can randomise a winner.

8-)

Regards
Liam

Wermy and I were planning a give away shortly after the video release so 1 more give away can't hurt. I'm ok with it but I'll let Wermy chime in.

If you want to give one away that's fine by me. And donations are great, but please don't feel obligated to make the giveaway tied to that. :)

Thanks, guys.

As I'm not actively selling anything and the donation amount is low I'm happy to tie the two together.

I could just give it away but it seems more fun this way.

I'll create a post in the buy / sell forums once the mintyPi is ready 😎
