Re: Share your GB's Labels
These are very nice! Great work @afr0dysiak ! If you don't mind us using them, I think I'll do it too
(I'll add a "design by adr0dysiak" on the bottom or side, if you don't mind)
BTW where do you guys buy bulks of empty GB cartridges? I tried AliE. but with no luck, so I bought 2 of them on Ebay but they are (relatively to the cost) a tiny-tad expensive.
I'm going to continue browsing this forum, soooooo much information in it, I'm drooling

Re: Share your GB's Labels
Aliexpress has gray/green blank cartridges for sale and real cheap, 1$ a piece. If your GBZ build uses other colour schemes try searching on eBay for Japanese sellers. You can buy original game cartridges for a couple of bucks shipped worldwide and there's almost all colours.Renalti wrote: ↑Mon Jul 24, 2017 2:38 amThese are very nice! Great work @afr0dysiak ! I did not find them then. I'll keep lookingElmafioso90 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 24, 2017 3:11 amAliexpress has gray/green blank cartridges for sale and real cheap, 1$ a piece. For now I plan on using the default color scheme, so grey would be nice!
Thanks for the tip, I'll keep looking on AliE.

EDIT: found them using related products (I was searching for "game boy cartridge" but I think that my english is too poor

Thank you for the link @Elmafioso90! (and congrats on speaking french! I'm currently beginning to learn spanish using DuoLingo, it's fun
)
Indeed this vendor seems to have great stuff, I'll look into it! Thank you

Re: Share your GB's Labels
Ok, time for my contribution
First, i wanted to thank silvusvalentine for his job on the vector logos for the cartridge.
My label is 90% based on vectors except the GPIO scheme and the raspberry image.
If anyone is interested, i'll be happy to share

Re: Share your GB's Labels
I've designed a battery wrapper for use with MBuynow Galaxy S2/i9100 4800mAh 3.7VDC Li-ion battery.
I'll post a step by step tutorial to show how to apply it because as you can imagine, to make it fit great, you have a precise starting point to start from...
You can see attached, a beta version printed on paper just for test fitting. I've finally suppressed the Mario after a discussion with Wermy. He is right, Nintendo is very protective when talking about their products so, better stay away from troubles.
I've ordered white vinyl paper from Amazon to make final tests, and then, i will place an order in a factory (maybe in china) to have them printed with real printers on extra strong vinyl paper with anti-uv coating and high glossy effect (maybe also with a hologram), of course precut.
For now, i have the black surrounding line just for help cutting with scissors.
If someone is interested, PM me, i'll open shortly a thread to gauge interest and if i get enough order intention, i'll open a pre-order thread.
I've added the four pins of the battery so no one will ruin a battery due to bad connection lol

One more...
Designed to sit on the square above the battery tray, normally, in original shells, you have stuffs engraved into the plastic, but on the aftermarket shells, this place is empty, so i wanted to fill it
