try making your own 2.4" that will fit/work (you may be able to salvage some of the parts, even if there still stuck on the wall)....

Just got everything set up/soldered between the boards and screen. Screen is white. Nothing else. No flicker other than power on or off. I see the Pi is booting and loading as it should, but no image output. All solders are good with great continuity. Voltage to the lcd pcb at the test point is 3.29v. Let me know if there is anything anyone else has found or the screen is just defective. Thanks.

Not sure if there is a warranty attached to this? Even searched ebay for screens, and although inexpensive, the attached flex cable seems to be custom with regards to the PCB. Do I make a claim with Helder directly? I can take vids/pics if needed.

Its not a problem with the screen. Its how we are attaching them and or our connections from the pi to the pcb.
I smashed my original screen from helder in a fit of rage vut i just got another feom ebay.. same problem.. so i will triple check my solder points tomorrow.

Solder points are an issue to check and pin alignment is the main issue. It can be tricky getting them to work but that info on alignment is in another thread so go have a look. If you didn't damage the the LCD and boards I can take them back and refund you then resell them in a completed unit so it's not a big deal if you decide to give them back.

Check pin alignment on the ribbon and continuity on all points from the Pi to the LCD board test pads.

Don't contact me about obtaining my board files (as you will not get them). If my Boards or PCB Kits are sold out, they will be restocked as soon as I can get them and there is demand for them. You can join the mailing list on my Website to be notified when they are available.

I appreciate you hoppin' in! I will start from the left and move the flex cable a half mil at a time to the right turning the pi on, checking, back off, then moving again and see if I can get it to catch. What was strange was that the cable was already cut on either side so I didn't have to edit the edges. Not sure if this was in an update, but meant to say that was nice if someone was manually cutting them for us ;)

I likely did it on a few here and there but on the future versions I might be able to get the screen soldered to the PCB itself and skip the connectors entirely.

I have messed with this thing for almost 2 hrs now. It's like it getting the power, but not the signal to post an output. I've reflowed the solders to be safe. The brass is getting weak at the ends of the flex because I've moved it around so much. I can only get a white screen. Using HDMI is no issue. Like I said prior, the solders are great and voltage is still 3.27-3.28v to the end of the flex test points. I make sure to pull the power prior to retesting after reseating the cable in case the signal comes through. I'm not trying to cause trouble or get anything for free, if you can point me to the screen to purchase that has the proper ribbon attached to the screen I will purchase a new one.

Remove the socket and solder the LCD directly to the board and you'll have no more issues. You can send it back to me and I'll do it for you if you don't want to. A new screen isn't going to fix the issue since that one works.

If you want to search for a new screen search for 2.4 inch ILI9341 SPI 240x320
