Do you have any suggestions on soldering that cable Popcorn? Ive done some soldering here and there but nothing that small.Popcorn wrote:Yep, that was me that added the jumper cable. I had a 6V charger and did an A/B test between that and the 5V from USB and when it was on the USB, there was some slight video phasing. It was very minor and most people could probably live with it without modding it, but I decided on adding the jumper. Now there's no phasing on USB 5V and works great.
You're model looks exactly the same as mine. If you use a knife to gently remove the double sided foam tape, the board has this written on the backside: (that way you know for sure)

Make sure you have an active video source and at least 5V power or else your display will appear black/blank.
Also, lucky you. I didn't get the button daughter board with mine.
Basically do you have any tips on connecting the wire to such a small area?
