A quick question, dimensions aside.

Will those be an alternative, too?
This is one Battery with 5.200 or both with 10.400mAh.
Will those work? They seem to have a protective circuit for charging and discharging.
Do i miss something here or may i just buy those and hook them up to the PowerBoost 1000 Charger and be good to go if they fit into my case?

I am pretty sure they do, but i tend to overlook things the last few days, so i want to be sure :D

That's 5200mah each. Also those are Li-ion batteries, not Lipo. (Personally though, I don't know the exact differences between those types). You'd need to charge/run them in parallel. And there's the whole issue of putting mismatched batteries in parallel that aren't from the same production run. Where one will charge less than the other, which cascades and causes your batteries to wear out very quickly.

I am only planning to use one of those at a time, since it is more than double my current capacity of 2500mAh.
I think the LiPo are better in terms of self discharge and recharge abilities. Plus, they are not as dangerous if damaged :D

Since the PowerBoost states it can charge LiPo and LiIon, i should be good to go if i only use one of those batteries, right?

It's actually 70 x 72 x 15mm. I'm going to remove one of screw wells leftover from the battery cage and reattach it using the same metal technique around the screen. It should fit perfectly in that space.
Hey Popcorn, I am ordering parts for my second GBZ (improved version with VGA screen).. Can you post pictures of what you have so far with this battery? I may pick it up as well if I know it will fit. I also use a usb hub (3 port) and a usb card. I am wondering if you would still be able to use the headphone jack as well. I feel like it would be a very tight squeeze.

Actually, I went a head and just picked up a 5000mAh one instead. It is long, not wide so I should have plenty of room. This will be my second build (hopefully better one from everything I learned). http://www.ebay.com/itm/Polymer-Li-ion- ... 1391101823

Oh man, what a shame. Well, back to the 2500 LiPo then. Thank you.

Does anybody know what type of JST-Connector the PowerBoost 1000C has? Is it an XH or PH one?
I don't even know how to solder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thanks for the offer but I need two. I think I'm going to ask Thijs852 if he still got some spare ones.
