Acetone is not advisable with PLA. You can get some smoothing if you submerge the part in acetone, but it will break down the plastic, causing long term damage.

As for other print technologies... SLA would be *extremely* expensive. You'd easily be looking at over $100 from any print service (and many will quote over $1000). It's probably at least $20 just in material cost alone. Also, the part will be too large for many consumer-level printers to handle, which limits your options.

SLS from a place like Shapeways would probably be a little more economical - and probably a better option since it would be more robust - but still pretty steep.

Since we opt for a modified printed case why not to integrate other mods as well to make assembly easier.

Im a friend of no glue and removable solution so I have modified the speaker area with an fixation for it that can be screwed tight.
I have added some domes to the front shell for the screws.
See the pic.

Next I want to find a way to integrate Hoolyhoo`s Screen bracket without gluing.

Guys, I found a shop here that would print the model using Laser SLA and DSM 8000 Material.
They could even include the writing on the case. Somebody have the labels modeled so it can be integrated here for the printing?

Since I've yet to actually build a GBZ I wasn't sure what people actually need and kept to the basics. I guess adding features for yourself might be easier than getting rid of things you don't want when things get more complicated. :D

Yeah, I am not a big fan of glue either. Nice idea for the speaker!
I am curious to see what you come up with for the screen!

I didn't model the labels because Fusion 360 does not have a proper engraving feature (at least that I know of). Creating the tiny labels that flow around the fillets would've been quite some trouble. I already ruined the model several times while working on the indents on the back and those are way simpler geometry. Sorry. :?

What does the SLA print cost?

Screen Fixation is done. Will show you later.
Also added features for an Cartridge reader and modified some of your model.
Since the tolerance of Laser SLA is 0,2% i want to try to model the labels as well and see the result.

Im located in China, here the price for printing i quite competive. The material is only available in white though
