Hi I had a question about the memory for the system if you could play like story games like Pokémon or Harry potter and still have you saved spot?

I'm new to this and have not yet started to order parts to start the build

Oh sweet that makes it easy. And I had another question.

If you set up the gameboy the same way in the videos can you just hook up the HDMI cord to the TV and hook up a USB controler and play the games like the gameboy is a console?

Yep you sure can! And the external USB slot makes the perfectplace to attach a controller, or to make use of the Bluetooth dongle
