Putting the battery
I finally received my 3D printed parts and... i am really disappointed
The quality is realy far from what i was used to get with the hub i’m used to deal with...
I had to dremel many part except the pogo pin holder. This one was perfect, the connector sat on it as if it was designed for him
![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
i had to force a bit and the pogo pins was able to stand alone on top of the support.
Here are some pictures

You can see that the 3D printed part is sitting really tight in the cable management system. It’s bending a bit but this putted effort actually prevent it form moving and i don’t need glue to hold it

Even removing it was REALLY hard

The mode button support have also the purpose to support the USB port. It’s really fitting like a glove
Now the bad news...
I’m having difficulties to make contact with the pogo pins. The problem is the tight grinding i’ve made to the battery tray. I cannot push down the battery to make contact with the pogo pins. The problem is that with my design, the pogo pins are staying up to the battery cover but this is the reverse bending way of the pins... i have destroyed 2 connectors by forcing the battery down. As the pins didn’t bent (because they bent pushed the other side) they got flattened
I have to flip the pogo pins upside down

but the connector won’t sit anymore flush (flat plastic against flat plastic) so i may end using some sugru maybe to clay down the conector to the support. Really weird. Stupid me, i didn’t take this in consideration while designing the support.
Those who wants to whip me can
Never mind, i’ll find a solution.
The good news is that i finally got my build playable without a power cord
This is the real freedom
