That's gorgeous!
I've been wavering back and forth between straight up 3d printing, or 3d printing with a laser cut faceplate. This is definitely inspiring me to keep it printed.

Very smooth for a fdm print. Impressive.
Another way to smoothing is rough sanding and coating with epoxy.

Re: [WIP] CAD designed and 3D printed GB Zero case
I managed to finish the GameBoy. Everything except the closing lid is done. I still have to design the lid, but I put the GB together already and it's working fine. The audio volume is too low to my tase. Mainly because I cannot adjust the system volume. It always stays at 0%, no matter what settings I change. I had it running before so I think I just have to tweak it software wise. If anyone has an idea how to fix this, please let me know.
The case itself fits together quite well. I would like to fit it even better, but for now I need a break from this project lol. I uploaded the files to thingieverse:

I uploaded some more pictures of the assembled Game Boy.
I would be interested in seeing other people using or altering it, so please show me your results

Question, you talking about the system sound settings in emulationstation?
Change the sound type (forget off the top of my head the exact words im trying to remember, dont have my GB on me to check). There should be a setting right below the volume, change that then try to change the volume. One of the 3 works.
I just started my work day unfortunately so it'll be awhile before i can grab my GB and tell you exactly what settings you need. I only noticed this because i was having issues getting it to work initially (which turned out to be gpio13 problems not my wiring/program)
Sorry for being vague as hell lol. Memory sucks in the morning

Yes, the 'System Volume' in Emulation Station stays at 0%, no matter what I tried so far. Any hint would be highly apreciated.Vineheart01 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 29, 2017 9:06 am"I still have to design the lid, but I put the GB together already and it's working fine. Re: [WIP] CAD designed and 3D printed GB Zero case
I have mine set to Audio Device: PCM and the volume can be turned up to 100% fine.
If i change it to anything else volume gets set to 0 instantly for some reason.
Hope that helps (its in the Sound Settings)
