Battery choosing
Hi,
I was wondering where can I buy the battery; Since the GBZ needs a flat Li-ion, I need to find a trustable site to buy on. Plus I don't know the dimensions exactly so I need one that gives them.
I won't buy cheap chineses batteries on ebay since they are most of the time not even a quarter quantity of what they promises...
Could someone point me on a great 2Ah battery that would be working for the GBZ ?
Thanks in advance

Re: Battery choosing
That's a bit pricy and I don't need a 5Ah, 2 will suffise I guess. Though this website is a good idea, based in my country it will arrive quickly and the price won't be too high. I'll take a look on it. Thanks

Re: Battery choosing
That depends on your location.
But remember, you can go with a Li-Po battery, too.
Some users just went and bought small Li-Po Powerbanks on Amazon.

Does battery charger works for both LiPo and LiIon ? Thats a nice idea, I'll keep in mind when I'll buy it thanks

talking about batteries on ebay...I bought this

I knew it was not 6000mAh, but I think it was more closer to 350, maybe less (it was totally rubbish). After searching for batteries, there are a lot of fakes on eBay and Amazon as well. I still have not got a battery for my GBZ, so a good supplier that's cheap would be nice to know

The Adafruit PowerBoost 1000 Charger does. I don't know about others, though.Oxodao wrote:Does battery charger works for both LiPo and LiIon ? Thats a nice idea, I'll keep in mind when I'll buy it thanks
Re: Battery choosing
Why not just use a cell phone battery + booster board? I was able to order such a solution for less than $10 including shipping. Haven't tested it out yet.
