Using the LCD pot for Volume

Post by _N0x » Thu Jun 09, 2016 4:20 am

Hey sudomoders

I would love to controll the sound in my GB0 but I can't use the original Potentiometer because i need the space for the mini HDMI port. But could you use the original display/contrast potentiometer to controll the volume? Is it in the same range as the volume pot? Or is there any alternative that wouldn't take too much space?

Thanks for your help guys.

I'm confused. The HDMI port in wermy's build is located out of the contrast window, not the volume window. The volume pot is used as intended.

Haha, it does get difficult to think about where wires and connectors go and how long and all that schematic stuff when you're constantly flipping top and bottom halves to figure out efficiency.
