Re: DS Lite Pi Zero
This is a fantastic looking project. I'm thinking of doing something similar but just using the bottom half of a ds lite or an original phat ds (I actually like the look of it!).
It's not too hard to remove the hinges etc and make the bodywork look nice enough. I made a Gameboy Macro a couple of years back and that turned out ok. I still have tons of ds and ds lite parts left over from when I used to repair and resell them so it would be good to make use of some bits.

Re: DS Lite Pi Zero
By sheer chance, a bunch of the components I needed have landed in my lap, including a speaker, display and even a battery! Assuming everything fits, I think this is the kick I needed to get this project properly going again.

Re: DS Lite Pi Zero
I fell in love with this post, I am very curious to know what status, whether it was continued, or whether it was abandoned because there is no way to do it. I'm wanting to make one myself, but I'm from what I thought, the screen will be the biggest problem. How was your screen positioning?
Re: DS Lite Pi Zero
Hi guys, I'm working on this project and I want to show you my progress.
First of all, sorry for my bad english.
I'm using a working original DS.
For the screen i'm using the same screen of gameboy zero: http://amzn.to/2FZFSes
i have mount it in this way: the dimension it's ok, but i can't mount a protection, no problem: But i don't know how to close the shield: If someone had an idea, pls tell me.
For the PCB, i'm using the original pcb and i soldering all button on the gpio. Recalbox as OS: KIT for other upgrade during the next days

Re: DS Lite Pi Zero
PROBLEM UPDATE:
Ok I tried to connect the power directly on the Pi0, and IT WORKS!!! so the problem is the power supply, But WHAT?
I think it could be the battery not suitable: or there is not enough power supply to the raspberry.
what do you think?
