First ever GBZ!

Post by MadModder » Sun May 13, 2018 1:48 pm

This is my first attempt at making something as sophisticated as a Gameboy Zero! I am having to do this in stages, a little at a time. I'll try to document my progress as I receive more and more components. Hope you all enjoy!

First Post: I ordered the casing parts from Retromodding.com. The buttons are all SNES style rather than the normal Gameboy buttons for style and comfort. I based the color scheme on a Pokeball :) Oh, the fuzzy creature in my photos is my cat...she made it very difficult to take pictures because she kept trying to run away with my buttons :P
Included parts are:
-Clear red gameboy shell
-1 set clear SNES buttons
-1 set Black Clear SNES buttons
-2 sets black silicone pads with start/select buttons
-1 Glass GBZ screen

Good luck with your build! You might want to consider a digital multimeter if you don't already have one. Great tool for checking voltage, connections and stuff. 👍
