Re: [FOR SALE] Safe Shutdown v1.2 (for PowerBoost)
This part does not come with the safe shutdown, but you can buy it from OSHPark right here:

What version of the safw shutdown do you suggest for the following powerboost? https://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/0.h ... 2824032545
Should I order the "powerboost edition" since it has an enable pin like the Adafruit powerboost?

@troedi That link seems to be dead. If you have an Adafruit Powerboost, you'll need the Powerboost edition. Otherwise, the BangGood or "generic" edition.

I hope this link works: https://de.aliexpress.com/item/DC-5V-2- ... 32545.html
It's not an adafruit powerboost and not the typical banggood one...

Re: [FOR SALE] Safe Shutdown v1.2 (for PowerBoost)
I have mine installed with a raspberry pi 3 and a 1000c. Booting up and shutting down with the switch works like a charm but I don't get a warning and the raspberry will not perform a safe shutdown on low battery. Everything is connected like in the schematic. Any ideas?

For info if this helps others experiencing a similar issue. The safe shutdown script was not being run on startup. This meant the power switch was not initiating shutdown. To resolve the issue I opened the crontab file with "crontab -e" and changed "@reboot /usr/bin/nice -n 19 /usr/bin/python ~/Safe-Power-Monitor/safe_power_monitor.py" >> mycron; crontab mycron;rm mycron" to "@reboot sleep 60 && /usr/bin/nice -n 19 /usr/bin/python ~/Safe-Power-Monitor/safe_power_monitor.py" >> mycron; crontab mycron;rm mycron". This delays the running of the script until retro pi had finished booting and now works like a charm.

@TastyOrange Thanks for this. Onixid has submitted a pull request to change the way the script starts up. I'll be testing this over the next few days.

I'm a little lost here with the safe shutdown on low battery/warning feature. What could be the problem if booting up and shutting down works perfectly fine but I get no warning screen?
