Tici Taci Pi!!!
Hello Everyone!!!
While on the discord, I got the idea to put a pi in a tic tac box. I have made the PCB and will get it made this month. It has a very similar design to TinyPi by Moose/Pi0cket however, it uses 4 buttons abxy. I'll upload new parts/ pics as we get further in. I have placed the start/select buttons on the back so that you can access them easier during gameplay, it uses the same screen as TinyPi and the same joystick, but It should be able to have more speaker power and will be louder. It uses the same components as Mintypi for power and audio. I will (hopefully) be selling kits once I have a working product and have sorted out costs. It shouldn't be more than £60 all you will have to add is pi, tic tacs and a Micro SD card. I'll probably have the costs done before a prototype, so if anyone is interested in getting a "beta" version and saving a little money, send me a message or register your interest down below.
Thanks!

Update Time!!!
I've ordered the boards and some of the parts. I will hopefully have a fully working prototype in about a month (Chinese snail mail). We are looking at about £60 a kit at the moment. If anyone wants a working prototype when they're here let me know and I can see what I can do.

Post some board images of the thing, maybe a paper printout in the tin to see how it all fits.

Don't contact me about obtaining my board files (as you will not get them). If my Boards or PCB Kits are sold out, they will be restocked as soon as I can get them and there is demand for them. You can join the mailing list on my Website to be notified when they are available.

Re: Tici Taci Pi!!!
Good luck young padawan, you have a long way to go
Get a small cheep LCD in your project https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2312
Wrap it all round a battery https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2292
Or use a custom PCB to make it really small https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2512
or make it really really really really tiny!! https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2919

Re: Tici Taci Pi!!!
Update Time!!!!!
The boards have arrived and as expected I have made a bit of a mistake size wise, they are too tall! However, they are perfect width. The board is being put together bit by bit. I am not going to mess with the PCB until I know that it works. I'm ordering the Pi this weekend so we can get the first test done and if that goes well I will be able to shorten the board and get a prototype that will fit in the tic tac box.
