Can you post a picture of the other side? It looks like maybe those traces with the circular ends on the right-hand side aren't connected to anything - you may be able to use those if that is the case. You'll probably want to use a multimeter to check they aren't connected to any other traces, though.
What game is it?
So they connect to another trace on the other side? One option would be to cut the traces on the other side, which would free them up to use on this side, if that makes sense. Those circular endpoints aren't too hard to scrape off and tap into.CandyManCriminal wrote: they connect on the other side, game is tetris
yeah, that makes sensewermy wrote:So they connect to another trace on the other side? Here did you get it?
What do you mean? Do you know something more about this?1461748123 wrote:You got a fake cartridge..![]()
Where did you get it?
Yeah, since DMG is quit old people have cracked the system. That's why you can now download games and run on simulators. Original game cart can be really expensive for certain games, so people just make some fake cartridge and flash in any games they want, apply the sticker and sell them at a high price. Don't get me wrong, they are actually working cartridges, the only difference is they are made by third-parties.Kilren wrote:What do you mean? @CandyManCriminal
I'd just drill through the black blob for safe measure to disrupt anything that might be under there, and then just solder to the pin holes that lead to the traces you want.
Gotcha. Makes a lot of sense. It's done for every other system in existence if the technology is available. I just wasn't aware of the method for the DMG.1461748123 wrote: Yeah, since DMG is quit old people have cracked the system. That's why you can now download games and run on simulators. EDIT: I have some fake one in my collection as well
