Looking back through the comments he mentions he keeps the button PCB of the wiiu gamepad, maybe that is the brown material? Although the white part looks like it contains the flex for the button pads...

but thats not a PCB or a standard part that comes with/apart of the Wii U Gamepad....


a bog standard Wii U gamepad looks like this when opened





NB: there only two real PCB that are apart of the gamepad... the motherboard and the home button board
(and the few other little boards)
the controls are made up of analog sticks and conductive film ribbons....

Hi, all, does anybody know how I might make a battery monitor solution (i.e., what hardware and software I should use) if I’m making a 2S 7.4V version of this, as outlined earlier in this thread? It uses a stepdown converter, not a Powerboost, so I can’t use the Lipopi circuit and script that Banjokazooie used. Thanks for any help anyone can provide! I just want to be able to see how much battery is left, either through low battery LED indicator or onscreen status bar, and it’d be great to have auto shutdown when battery is low too.

Simple voltage reading by teensy analog pin with a voltage divider will light up a LED and or trigger GPIO pin with python script to auto power down
