Low-pass filter for audio out

Hey guys!
I'm working on audio output for my project, wermy mentioned that there are a tutorial from adafruit that explain how we could get audio from a raspberry pi zreo: https://learn.adafruit.com/adding-basic ... ry-pi-zero
I follow the require parts list that wermy provided and got the components I need from my local electronic store:

I got bunch of 33nf capacitors, 150 Ohm resisters and 270 Ohm resisters. But when I get back home and look closely to the diagram that adafruit provided I realize that they used some 10nF capacitors as well.
I talk to wermy and he said that he didn't use any 10nF capacitors and just simply built a low-pass filter.
I've no experience on building such a thing.. anyone got some ideas how to build one out of the parts that I have on hand?

If you have a breadboard, you could try substituting the 10nF caps for the 33nF caps and see if that'll work. I can't guarantee it though...

We need this because the Pi Zero doesn't have an audio output, so we need to make the audio filter for it and enable the audio. This will then connect to the amp.

Interesting, I wonder why they didn't include audio out in the first place with the Pi Zero, and why they're doing it now.

It looks like the 10nF capacitors are just filter capacitors, so their value shouldn't matter too greatly. If the worst comes to the worst then I guess you can put some 33nF capacitors in parallel to get a lower capacitance...

Yes, it is not confirmed, but there was a new much requested feature added, and some others are already officially declined.
So, most users speculated on Audio Out, because it is easy to implement, cheap and does require a software update.

I will have mine in a few days and will report back if i can confirm it.

To thank you for your patience, we've taken advantage of the hiatus to add a (much requested) new feature. I'll leave you all to guess what it is (it's not WiFi).

I just got my RPI0 from that second batch from ThePiHut which was ordered on April 29th and I can confirm that it looks like this is dead stock and the old board version 1.2.
