What does the adhesive look like on the clear ones? I assume you can see it from the other side without a bezel in the glass. I'm on board but am stuck on deciding whether to get one without adhesive and probably use a really thin black double sided adhesive to make it look nice from the other side or if the ones with adhesive on them look good.

its basically a double-sided tape, so the result would be close. a little more clear than double-sided tape, but the same principle. its a clear adhesive, but it not like you do not notice it is there. its clear, but with texture, i guess i'd say...

if you are cutting away the plastic for using this with the LCD screen, i'd suggest the non-adhesive type and using double sided tape or some sort of glue yourself. the adhesive is enough of a texture to distort the image, and not easily scraped away...

Thanks, I didn't leave a ledge or anything to mount the lens on so I'm going to be attaching it straight to the bezel of the LCD. I may go with the non adhesive one and use like 1 or 2 mm black double sided adhesive to make it look like a bezel and cover the screen bezel a bit.

I must say, most of my GBZ build is Kitsch-Bent parts, I like what you guys are doing.

But, of course, if you want me to just throw it into a paper envelope and mail it like its a letter, I'd be willing to do that if you're also willing to make a statement in the order that any damage caused during shipping is OK and you are taking the chance. Otherwise, I'm responsible when an item arrives broken...

since the rate hike some months ago, its something i've thought more and more about... i mean, the electronics are already RoHS compliant, its just a matter of finding an outlet to coordinate this with.

i'll look more into this and see if there is something i could do. generally, individuals have other employment or something taking up time during the day and with the volume i ship it makes that route not an option, so i'd need to find a company who does such a service. something like selling through Amazon fulfillment... using an individual for this would not only require some storage space for the inventory, but more space to just keep the shipping materials which is hefty by itself.

if anyone can suggest a fulfillment business like this, I'm happy to look into it... i'll do some searching on my own as well.
