NanoPiBoy, tiny weekend retropie build
NanoPiBoy, tiny weekend retropie build
Hey Sudomod.
I built this little guy last weekend after getting insprired by all the projects I've seen here.
My design goals where to make it as small as I could while using easily accesable parts so that it could be made by anyone with basic sodering skills and some common sence (hmmm).
Its using a 1.44 spi tft, which is nice and clear but a little too small for anything much higher res than NES
Looks like those tags dont work. Any ideas on what I have to do?

nice work!! Your games sound like they run a little fast. Is that just a video edit or have you tweaked some settings?
also your vape stick is pretty loud in the video

Get a small cheep LCD in your project https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2312
Wrap it all round a battery https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2292
Or use a custom PCB to make it really small https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2512
or make it really really really really tiny!! https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2919

Yeah, I think they are running quick, especially the need nes games. Any ideas what I need to do to fix it?
Also, I meant to mute that vape noise, it's obnoxious isn't it
Thanks man. The battery is right under the screen, it's just not very big. Although it's a mm or two but than the one I designed it for so there's a bit of a bulge. So I'm planning a redesign to make it tidier. The first lipo got killed in the build process at some point, rip. . .
Re: NanoPiBoy, tiny weekend retropie build
