Hello,
I can't seem to get audio working on the minty pi v3. I have checked the solder points and tried reflashing but it still doesn't seem to be working out.
Also when using a magnet to shutdown it gets hung up in the normal shutdown process and won't continue. It stopped on 'stopping login services' a few times, then after the reflash ' stopping perimeter sessions'. I have to unplug cord (not hooked up to battery yet) to get it to turn off.
Anyone seeing these issues? Or have a fix for them?
UPDATE: I tested the sound through headphones, and the sound works there, but not through speakers.
Solution on shutdown: you need the battery hooked up for it to shut down properly.

For the system to turn off properly you need the power board with battery. Maybe the speaker blew ? You have something you can test the speaker on?

Re: Minty Pi v3 audio and shutting down issues
Oh ok good deal on the power.
As for the speaker, I tried switching it with another of the same size (I have a box.of the same ones), but still didn't get sound. There also wasn't a burst of noise that usually happens when they blow.
I only tried one speaker, I'll try a second when I get off work to see if it was just bad luck.

Re: Minty Pi v3 audio and shutting down issues
I guess it did blow. I tried a large 8ohm .5W, an old gameboy pocket one, and one of those cheap oblong ones, they all worked.
That's weird, I didn't hear any sound from it since testing it out.
I also thought that I had more of these tiny ones, but I was thinking of the larger versions.
Would the larger ones fit in the case? Or would it just be best for me to buy some of the smaller ones?
