Big push coming soon to get the rest out.stewthegreat wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2019 2:05 pmHey I just remembered I ordered one of these and was wondering what happened to it, found this thread and wow this is a lot. I haven't received any emails other than my initial receipt back when I ordered. Any chance I could get a status update on order number 2347?
Did I deal with yourself on Discord? If not I can help you out, send me a DM.

Sure, but it's not his personal handle; just the one he uses for business, I'm sure. Anyway, it's galaxygaminguk.

Not to knock you personally (I understand you're just trying to help GG out) but .... I didn't even order shells cut or uncut, and I'm still waiting on an update on my I2S only order (albeit with some other bits) and it changed from it's coming with the next batch on the 10th to it's at the top of the list on the 19th...and no news (PM/shipping notification or otherwise).
Granted, I don't need it urgently, but yeah, very mixed signals.

There was a large delay due to the PayPal being frozen but now that's not the case, there is a big batch ready to go out. You can have a refund or wait, those are the only two options at the moment.

That's entirely my fault, I've been the one dealing with this. I thought there were spare i2s boards but it looks there isn't. I'm going to take care of them personally. I've ordered some boards and I'll hand solder them and get them out ASAP. Mixed messages were my fault so sorry for that.superbuzz wrote: ↑Mon Jul 01, 2019 5:08 amNot to knock you personally (I understand you're just trying to help GG out) but .... What is the update on the kits? I want to know where are we now since GG hasn't responded my pm and i haven't really heard real progress here, at least about pre cutted kits. I think it's been about 3 weeks since Rich popped up here

Re: [ PRE ORDER ] Gameboy Zero PocketPi FE
Hi all,
FE Update time! This last week I focused on some of the builds as up until now it’s been kit focused as it’s only fair. In terms of kits I’ve finished perfecting the CNC machine which means I can now cut the cart bay, HDMI port, and best of all, the battery bay. This has hugely sped things up and also reduced the error rate as it’s easy to mess up a cut and ruin 10 minutes work which is costly and frustrating with the ol dremmel.
In terms of timelines, I’m about 50% through everything, I’m going to do one more week of builds then go back to kits. In two weeks time I’ve arranged a week off work to focus solely on fulfilling orders with an aim to do a big push. Having PayPal unfrozen has hugely helped and means I can ship as soon as kits are ready rather than having to do small batches due to cost.
I’ve added some pictures as some people find it interesting and some like to see the progress.
Finally, it’s been awesome seeing your builds on Instagram, please keep posting them!
Cheers,
Rich

The guide for the rear trigger has been updated.

I do not understand the last part:
Can you show a picture or draw a sketch, please? For the GND I recommend bridging the inner two pads to one wire on the rear PCB and then run that to the closest trigger ground spot.

I'll try get a diagram done. But it means the two inner pads, they are GND. So instead of running two wires, you can just join them both together using solder and run one wire instead. Does that make more sense?Nikosaeder wrote: ↑Mon Jul 08, 2019 3:52 pmThe guide for the rear trigger has been updated.
