Re: [ PRE ORDER ] Gameboy Zero PocketPi FE
It is now August, I placed my order on Sept 6th 2018. Essentially putting me at the 11 month mark. Is there any up date you can give me on my order #1854. I have asked for this information repeatedly and have not heard anything. I know this preorder has been an absolute calamity and no one can say different, however can I just get an update?

Yeah, I'm right there with you. Ordered mine on Sept 1. It seems you have to get on here and raise hell to get any type of answer.thebonuslevel wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 3:19 pmIt is now August, I placed my order on Sept 6th 2018. I know I've said it before , but if your not getting a response on this fourum then try DM'ing galaxy gaming on Instagram, that's how I got my refund sorted. It's a shame cuz it's such a cool project I just hope they fulfill all of the peoples orders. Which I'm sure they will eventually

I think some of you have more patience than I do ordered mine in December 2018. I got a reply on Instagram a month ago saying that he'd be done with it in 2 weeks its been 5 and no update. looking for a refund.

Are the files for the 3d printed parts available anywhere? The brackets for the rear buttons do not fit well.
The buttonswells are'nt that good eather.
Can you please upload them to github/thingiverse?

Hi Jan! That's not the best, what issues are you having? The build guide was recently updated to indicate how to fit them:
https://galaxygaming.co.uk/guides/gameb ... 0b181-0fee
Let me know if you're still having issues. There are alternatives a few people have created, such as Ampersands:
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3195806 . It uses tactile buttons instead.
I have attached the single wells that I use. I glue them in with plastic glue and they really help position the buttons.

Hey guys, quick update, over the past couple days rich has been working hard on getting all shells cut ready to ship, I've attached a couple photos of the progress, the CNC is working really well and has been a huge help in getting the shells cut as quick as possible. For all on here who may be losing hope, please do not fear, each and every Pocket FE order WILL make its way to you, I can assure you that.
Thanks for your continued support during this endeavour,
KonnorJ

The PCB does not fit into the slots of the 3D-printed parts. As I want to relocate the rear buttons I will find another solution.
XY Buttons:
The Buttons do not move freely in the printed button wells. The y button is stuck.
When I find the time I will try to model a new part from the single button well from thingiverse.
Another Tipp:
My On/Off slider needed to be shortened (see the red parts on the photo). Trying to fit the PCB with the unmodified part caused a liftet switch (repaired it with CA glue)

Try the individual wells I attached. I glue them in with plastic glue, it allows you to freely move them about to where it's needed. Sometimes the 3d print can be a few mm off and it can cause issues such as above, they are checked but they can seem fine but not quite be, as is the case with the stuck Y button.
The back brackets should fit fine though, those are all tested before going out. I'll happily send you a new set if you'd like?
