And also, @banjokazooie how did manage to make the sound weal work? can you explain what you did? as I said Im still new to this

For the audio i have used a cheap chineese usb sound card from ebay. For the sound to work you need to edit /etc/asound.conf and add :
pcm.card1 {
type hw card 1
}
ctl.card1 {
type hw card 1
}
pcm.!default card1
This is wired to a small stereo amplifier board through original volume potentiometer from gameboy. And then connected to audio jack for stereo output to headphones and mono audio to speaker.

Hey @Banjokazooie, How did you connect the display on the RPi 2? which GPIO ports did you use?

It is cheap lcd connected via composite output of the raspberry pi so no GPIO
