Etching Problems?

So I etched the mintypi lite OS onto a 16 Gig micro SD card. No problems there. But when I went to load Roms onto it, it tells me there is insufficient space for less than a Gigs worth of roms. I checked out the properties of the SD card to find out it now only has a total capacity of 239 MB. I reformatted it, checked the properties and it was back to about 16 Gigs, Etched the Mintypi OS and again the capacity becomes 239 MB. That can't be right. The unzipped disk image for mintyPi_Lite_1.0_Beta is not quite 4 Gigs. Am I not doing this right? I formatted my SD card with SD association's formatter and used balenaEtcher to put the OS onto the SD card.

My guess is that you are trying to add ROMs to the boot drive in Windows. This is not where they go. Follow the link in my signature for a guide on how to transfer the ROMs.
