Re: Joystick Help Thread
Hey Kite, do you still have those pcbs?Email meI made a whole bunch of them! The adapter is a 6pin adapter, rather than the 5pin of the joycon but it works nonetheless!

Hello!
Long time lurker, I've recently ordered two 3DS C-Sticks, and have been doing a ton of research to look up any diagrams on them whatsoever, so far not so much. I've put this album together: https://imgur.com/gallery/MxZRyhJ , I think I've figured out the layout, but any help would be appreciated. I think, from first, top down image perspective, its X,GND,Y,Vcc. I'd really like to use these in an upcoming build I'm making.
Thoughts?

Ok, both C-sticks have arrived finally, as well as the little sockets, got two different types for testing. To get the ribbon to fit in, I had to cut the "wings" off. Perfect so far.

Re: Joystick Help Thread
Also a long time lurker -- but did you have any luck with that?
I was thinking of doing something similar.

Re: Joystick Help Thread
Had to take a break around the holidays but back in now. About to start testing them!
Re: Joystick Help Thread
Hello guys. Is there anyone that was able to find 5pin 0.5mm fpc adapters ?
How do you fix in place a 5pin flixible cable into a 6pin 0.5mm fpc adapter ?
Thanks!

Re: Joystick Help Thread
Hi,
I have a PSP 1000 that I'm using for my Circuit Sword build and I cannot seem to get it to register. I followed the instructions on the image above and still no luck. Any ideas?
Thanks!!

I had issues with that I had to connect to ssh command and recalibrateJ-Malice wrote: ↑Wed Jun 13, 2018 12:17 pmHonestly, I am not even sure where to begin troubleshooting my psp 1000 joystick. I used the above schematic and had 0 input from the joystick. The system didn't even register it was there. Then I looked at another users finished product thread. Looked at how they soldered the cables and then re-did mine so that they would be similar to his. Still no luck.
Is there a setting I have to enable to get joysticks to work? I lined up the 3.3V with the one from the schematic to the 3.3v connector on the SAIO. The ground is lined up an the X and Y are lined up. I am so confused right now.
Edit: In tester mode it says my joystick is OK but when I try to configure my controller when first turning on the system, it won't let me register the joystick to left joystick functions.
