I'm trying to finish out my build and after plugging my power cord into the right port (sheepish grin), I am on my final set of issues which fall into two categories: WiFi & Audio.
I've combed through all 17 pages on Kite's forum + the SAIO instructions + other tips I've seen and here is what I have tried:
1) WiFi - In the configuration of retropie, I don't see any networks. I've tried the WPA_Supplicant technique for WiFi, but that didn't help. When the unit boots, I see the wireless icon with an X through it, but it goes away after the initial splash screen returns to "text boot".
2) Audio - here are multiple problems that I think may just be one root cause. They are: Volume dial doesn't work, Headphone Jack doesn't work, Speaker doesn't work. If I plug in headphones and touch the LCD ribbon, I hear a buzz, so it is powered. I've tried all the options/configs in the configuration screens and turned up the volume in those screens, but just don't get anything. I've double checked the plugs, but I am at a loss.
I've tried to gather as much info as I can and would love some help - see pics below.
Picture 1 is my stuff all plugged in correctly
1) For audio - I see that the volume potentiometer doesn't work if the USB port is enabled. Maybe that is it? I don't see any switches.
2) For audio - should I mess with this in the config.txt?
# Disable onboard audio
dtparam=audio=off
For WiFi, I'm not sure what else to do. I'm pretty sure this version has it since there is an LED?
Any help would be appreciated! I am excited to finish this up after 3 years .
Thanks!
