I'm having a similar issue right now, everything starts fine, the retropie logo shows up then it goes all white for the mintypi logo but the screen just stays white, the sound and buttons still work (managed to still launch a game and get the sound to work). What's confusing is it was working fine with the battery for like 5 boots before this happened. Should I try to take it apart to send back to Helder?

Do you happen to know if you have a reflowed screen, correct mosfet, and the R2 resistor on the back of the screen removed? If you don't know, can you take a clear picture of the power board?

If the battery is about midlevel and you did not remove R2 on the back of the screen you could get the white screen. Remove R2 and charge it.
